Summary:
Language is the foundation for children’s learning and success. Children use oral language to become good thinkers and communicators, and to develop the literacy skills they need to achieve well in school and beyond. This poster designed for ECE teachers gives a brief overview of the evidence-based teaching practices that make the most difference to children’s oral language development in the early years highlighted in it's companion report. This poster is designed for a4 printers, so that it can be combined into one a3 poster.
